Trip Confirmed!
Your next diving story begins in Cabo Verde
Before you decide to join this trip, there’s something I want you to know.
This is not a vacation for people chasing checklists or looking to brag about their dives. And if you’re only looking for a holiday with perfect photos and fast-paced days, this may not be for you.
This is for those who crave something real — something that stays with you long after the gear is packed and your skin still smells of salt.
If this is what you are looking for, then keep reading.
Cabo Verde: A Trip Full of Diving, Adventure, Laughs, and Good Company
Cabo Verde isn’t just a destination. It’s a feeling.
It’s that soft wind on your face as the sun sets over the ocean.
It’s laughing with people you just met but somehow feel like you’ve known forever.
It’s diving into volcanic landscapes and resurfacing with a quiet kind of awe you can’t quite explain.
We’re not here to rush.
We’re here to breathe. To explore. To connect — with the island, the sea, and the kind of people who just get it.
If you’re coming for status or competition, this isn’t your place.
But if you’re the kind of person who values shared silences, unplanned joy, and the kind of moments that remind you who you are — then welcome. You’ve found your crew.
There’ll be dives, yes. But also cachupa shared at a local table, barefoot walks at suset, off-road adventures across the island, and that deep, grounding calm that only the ocean can offer.
This isn’t just another trip.
It’s a reset. A return. A reminder.
And if that speaks to you — we’re saving you a spot.
Is This diving experience in Cabo Verde for You?
This Trip Might Not Be for You If…
This diving in Cabo Verde experience is made for those who want more than just a holiday; it’s for people craving something real.
Sounds like your kind of plan? Stick around — we’re just getting started.
It’s Not Just About Diving in Cabo Verde. It’s About Who You Dive With, How, and Where

Friends You Haven’t Met Yet…And They’re Already Part of the Plan
This trip isn’t just about diving in Cabo Verde. It’s about sharing the experience with people who feel the same.
You’ll be with people who get it—what it feels like to jump into the ocean, spot a wreck, or come up with that “did you see that?!” face.
Whether you come solo or with someone, you’ll find a small, easygoing group. No pressure, no filters—just real talk, spontaneous dinners, and that feeling of being in the right place.
And when the trip ends, you’ll leave with stories, laughter, good friends, and the itch to come back.
Diving in Sal, Cabo Verde: Caves, Marine Life, and a Few Surprises
The underwater world of Cabo Verde has a personality of its own.
It’s not all postcard-perfect—but it’s the kind of place that sticks with you: volcanic caves, sunken wrecks, slow-gliding rays, and turtles that show up when you least expect them.
The water stays warm, even in winter. And while some dives have currents, there are spots for all levels.
Best part? Every dive has a twist.
Just when you think you’ve seen it all… something makes you say “wow” through your regulator.

When We’re Not Diving… We’re Still Exploring
Este viaje también va de lo que pasa fuera del agua.
This trip is also about what happens above the surface.
Think local markets in Santa Maria, ziplining with ocean views, off-road routes through desert landscapes—or just catching the breeze at sunset.
Everything flows at an easy pace, no rush, no rigid schedules.
And if you feel like doing nothing? That works too. Island life is made for that.
This Isn’t Just a Diving Trip. It’s That “So Glad I Said Yes” Kind of Feeling
You’re not here to fill out a logbook and mark Cape Verde on a map.
It’s about diving in Cabo Verde, taking a break from it all, meeting amazing people, and going home with stories that only real divers understand.
The whole experience is guided—so you can enjoy every moment, from your arrival to the last sunset drink.
If it sounds like your kind of trip, let’s talk.
Your Week of Diving in Cabo Verde—At a Glance
This is a sample itinerary. Please note that changes are subject to change depending on the number of confirmed participants, unforeseen events, or adverse weather conditions.
DAY 1. Saturday: Arrive and Settle In
Land in Sal, check into your stay in Santa Maria, and take your time.
Rest, wander around, or just enjoy watching the group come together. We’ll share our first dinner that night—an easy start to a great week.
DAY 2. Sunday: Explore the Island, No Diving Today
Since dive centers are closed, we dive into local life instead: the market, the pier, the beach—or just a slow Sunday.
Evening plans? Open. Dinner if the group feels like it.
DAY 3. Monday: Let’s Dive In
Meet at 8:30 for two boat dives in the Santa Maria area.
Back by lunchtime, with energy to spare. Afternoon to relax. Dinner together if it feels right.
DAY 4. Tuesday: Back in the Water
Same plan as Monday: two morning dives, afternoon to relax.
Because yesterday left you wanting more, right?
DAY 5. Wednesday: Last Dives, All Smiles
One last underwater adventure, two dives to wrap up the experience.
Afternoon is all yours: rest, explore, or let the day unfold. And for those who want, another group dinner to end on a high note.
DAY 6. Thursday: No Fins, Still a Plan
Optional activity day: zipline, off-road tours or whatever the group’s into.
Final night together. Expect lots of laughs (and probably a few “let’s do this again”).
DAY 7. Friday: time to head home (but you’ll want to come back)
We all go our separate ways.
Yes, the wetsuit is still damp—but now it’s packed with new memories, new friends, and that “so glad I came” feeling.

Who’s Behind This Diving Trip to Cabo Verde (and With You the Whole Way)
I’m Alessandra: Italian, diver, traveler… and the one behind The Ocean Explorers.
I’ve spent years exploring the ocean and organizing trips that go beyond just travel: they create real memories.
This will be our (Mario is joining too!) first time diving in Cabo Verde, and I couldn’t be more excited.
I’m not here to give you the “expert speech,” but I will say this: I love connecting with people, making sure every detail is right, and being there from the first call to the final toast on the island.
If you join this trip, you won’t feel like just another number. You’ll feel like this was designed with you in mind.
